From just down the street to only a few hours away, River Run is surrounded by some of the best mountain biking in the country. There are countless miles of single track for you to explore whether you want to ride in the Silt-Rifle-New Castle area or take a quick trip to Fruita, Moab or Aspen.

Mountain Biking
Rifle, Silt, New Castle
The area immediately surrounding River Run has over 170 miles of trails for mountain bikers of all ability levels. Whether you want to ride the 2.2 mile ‘Stairway to Heaven’ trail in New Castle, the 5.5 Tree Forks trail in Rifle, or Silt’s 4.1 mile Cherry Creek trail, there are countless mountain biking opportunities right out your back door.
Fruita
The town of Fruita, located 75 miles west of River Run, offers 58 miles of pure open dirt and almost 30 trails to ride on. The town is considered by many to be the best mountain biking in the state of Colorado.
Grand Junction
Grand Junction offers a variety of trails for riders of all ability levels. With nearly 112 miles of open trail, Grand Junction is a mecca for riders and is only 50 miles west of River Run.
Moab
Moab, Utah is globally know for it’s natural beauty and endless recreational opportunities is is located less than three hours from RIver Run. The area is perfect terrain mountain biking with over 200 trials to explore.
Glenwood Springs
In Glenwood Springs, there are over over 100 miles of trails located within the city limits and on the outskirts of town. Glenwood pitches the best riding experience nearest to River Run.
Carbondale
There are over 170 miles of dirt that is waiting for in and around Carbondale.
Aspen
At almost 120 open trails, there are 335 miles waiting for mountain biking enthusiasts . Aspen bids off many amazing places to stay, eat and explore along with the many, many miles of open terrain.
Snowmass
As a branch off of Aspen, Snowmass has over 40 trails to offer and almost 90 miles to explore.
